Our dog Chloe
This is our dog Chloe. She is Mary's best friend and big sister. Mary loves her very much but we aren't too sure if Chloe feels the same way about her. Chloe came to me with an engagement ring around her neck. A Black Pug, my dream dog, or at least it was. Just like marriage can be a pain in the ass sometimes so is Chloe. We have many names for her. In the beginning it was Little Chicken, Coco, Cooky Girl. Then Mary called her Woobie and that stuck and it is now practically her new name. We were going to name her Oprah but thought that was a little offensive. Chloe has no teeth. Chloe has an ass problem. Chloe sheds black hair everyday. Chloe chewed my first pair of $100 shoes well just one which made it worse. Chloe smells awful. Chloe still shits on the floor regularly. Chloe licks her lips constantly and snorts during the night. Chloe's nose is coming apart. Hence her other nickname Michael Jackson. Chloe is a professional begger. We finally realized we got a Lemon when we got Chloe. We still love her.
Mommy's New Van
Sometimes I think of something and start to laugh to myself. For instance, today Mary could not fit her Dora doll in the seat of the Dora van. She became very frustrated so I just sat Dora on the van's floor and said to her that is how me and Aunt Mary sat in Poppa's or should I say Mooma's van. Mary quickly said I want to ride like than in Mooma's van. Lucky for all of us that van is long gone. I started to laugh just thinking about the silver van. It was sort of customized inside, by customized I mean insulated and sheet rocked. Although there was only 2 seats in the front, we didn't mind that meant more room for pillows and blankets in the back on long trips. I think somehow that made the long rides a little better since there was no windows back there. No air conditioning either. Oh and sometimes we even shared the back with our Rottweiler Reba. So there it was me, Mary, all the suitcases and a large dog. Yes, we still had tons of room. I remember wanting to decorate the inside with posters. We took that friggin' van everywhere since that was our only means of transportation. Unless Mommy was at Shop-Rite and we needed a ride then we got to go in Daddy's black work VAN. Not many people had SUV's when we were kids but then again not many people had vans as the family car either. Mommy drove her van everywhere, with her head held high, because it was new. Mary learned to drive in the van. I hated that van Mommy. I can still see it pulling up to St. Michael's to pick me up. Couldn't drive too many friends home in that. Maybe just one if we both squished on the seat. I think there was a compound bucket turned over in the middle that was a make shift third seat. In case of emergencies. Wait, it may have been a cooler filled with Rolling Rocks, not too sure. Anyway, it made for a funny memory. Have to go and drive Mary to school now in my Mercedes Benz but we all know she would really rather be in the Silver Van.

Dora in the park
So today we went for a bike ride in the park. Yes, it sounds geeky but you did not see my new bike. I have not yet taken a picture of it but will and post it soon. It is creamy white, with a saddle tan leather seat, green and yellow palm leaves painted on the fender, green wall tires and drives like a dream. The best part about my new bike is it has a wicker basket attached to the front but can be removed and held by the cute little handle. Oh and it has a bell. I was riding down a steep hill today and lost a little bit of control and almost flipped over the handle bars. Trust me you do not want to bike ride in gold beaded flip flops. Anyway, we took a swing break in the park and noticed a large family having a birthday party. Immediately Mary was there, she so loves birthday parties and especially if it is one of those dreaded licensed character ones. Sorry if I offended you. To our surprise Dora came carrying a bouquet of balloons and a boom box. Yes the costume was a little dirty and I do think it may have been a man under that mask but Mary didn't care. She also did not mind that no one understood English. She did the Chicken Dance and Hokey Pokey but decided to sit the Limbo out. She is such a Party Crasher. Hey, I even took a picture with my phone. I am laughing out loud now to myself just thinking of Todd standing there clapping his hands and singing along with Mary. That is what you get for having a party in a public park. So we all rode away and waved good bye to our new friends and Dora. They didn't wave back to us. But I proudly rode my new bike away, red balloon now firmly tied around my handle bars and will never forget Dora in the park. Shit we forgot to get our goody bag.

I love to search the internet for new things and I love to tell people about it. Especially people who can really care less. I love party planning and Mary's 5th Birthday party in just around the corner. So, sit back and relax and enjoy our blog. Hello, is anyone still there?
